Business Development Executive/ Assistant Manager (Key Accounts) handles predominantly domestic accounts like say a Megamart, Reliance Trends, Lifestyle, Levis, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly etc.
Here there is no hard sell.
The job involves understanding the brand, what kind of a brand it ispremium formal wear, casual wear, value for money brand, etc.
Prepare range of products for each of them, meet the designer, do a presentation, list down products shortlisted, provide samples, price quotes etc
Do sampling of further shortlisted items, follow up for orders.
Travel will be comparatively lesser since he will be given fewer accounts instead of a territory where he will have to work in close co-ordination with the designers, product team, sourcing person to get orders.
He will also periodically have to visit stores to understand customer requirements.
Any Graduate with 2-3 years of Experience in direct selling of industrial consumables or institutional selling.
Candidates with Merchandising experience in a garment industry but with a flair for marketing can also apply.
Salary will not be a constraint for the deserving candidate and higher salary can be considered based on the candidates experience and track record.
