Job Description
Areas of Responsibility
1. Prioritizing customer/ prospect contact and personal sales activities towards achieving agreed business goals
2. Managing personal business portfolio according to an established marketing strategy
3. Handling product/ service mix, pricing and margins according to set targets
4. Maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
5. Integrate personal sales efforts with organized local marketing initiatives(product launches, promotions, advertising) based on agreed budgets and time-scales
6. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
7. Monitor competition and provide regular inputs to the Central team on trends and competitors activities
8. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
9. Attend external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
10. Pro-actively communicate with senior management on the business and technical performance of the product.
Candidate Profile
1. Good communication/ presentation skills

3. Willing to take risk/ challenges and have high energy levels
4. Ability to seek internal support
5. Competent to handle client negotiations in a competitive environment
6. Knowledge of handling large accounts like business in Airports, Railways, Sea ports, Power, Oil, Defence, Steel sectors and other Government accounts
7. Familiarity with tendering and documentation of large projects
8. Exposure to handling architects, electrical consultants, contractors etc
9. Exposure to Stockists appointment/ nurturing
10. Exposure to independent conceptualization and handling promotional activities & schemes on a regular basis
11. Knowledge of Working Capital Management(WCM) Debts & Stocks
12. Should be able to identify emerging market trends & building a business strategy to face challenges of promising markets.
