Chartered Accountant (Qualified in May,2008).
Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Rajasthan University (62)
Well versed with MS Office (Diploma from APTECH)
Working knowledge of ERPs like SAP, Microsoft Navision, QuickBooks, NetSuite, TALLY and FOCUS.

Role: Associate Vice President Finance & Accounts (July-2014 to till date). Leading a team of 15 people including 4 direct reporters.

Book Closing, Consolidations and Audits:
Month/ Quarter/ Annual closing of books of accounts and reviewing financial results.
Consolidation & Preparation of Income Statement and Balance Sheet as per IGAAP and US GAAP (Limited Exposure).
Monitoring the Internal Controls as per the internal policies of the entity.
Coordinating with auditors/ consultants (KPMG/ Grant Thornton) for ensuring completion of Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Assessments, Transfer Pricing matters.
Continuous monitoring of Cost Centre and Profit Centre Accounting. Review of Chart of Accounts from time to time.

MIS and Budgeting:
Preparation, Compilation and Monitoring of Annual Budget for India Operations. Analytical review of monthly MIS to monitor actual operational cost and interacting with functional heads for remedial action on variances against Budget.
Interacting and providing required information on Budgeting, Forecasting and monthly MIS, Cost Control, Expense Management, Management P & L and Balance Sheet.

Statutory Compliances and Taxation:
Ensuring Legal, Statutory and Regulatory Compliances related to ROC, STPI, RBI, Customs, VAT, GST, PF, PT and ESIC. Liaison with Govt. Authorities.
Handling the matters related to Direct Taxes viz; Income Tax, TDS, Transfer pricing and Assessments.
Handling the matters related to Indirect Taxes viz; Customs and Service Tax, Refund claims of Service Tax paid on eligible inputs.
Drive compliance of corporate policies to ensure consistency.

Payroll and Employee related payments:
Payroll management for 1800 employees in India.
Monitoring, analyzing and reviewing monthly variable payouts viz. Line count incentives, Performance link allowance, Night shift allowance, Holiday incentives etc.
Monitoring and Complying with Employee deductions like TDS, Provident Fund, ESIC and Professional Tax, etc.

US Billing and Back Office Support for Accounting:
Supervise and Support the Billing for US Clients and accounting support to US Accounting Team on day to day accounting for Account Receivable and Month Close activities.

Other Responsibilities:
Continuous interaction with Group CEO, CFO, Board Members and Finance Controller in U. S. A. for all Legal, Statutory, Finance and Accounting related matters of India entity.
Oversee Cash flow planning, Treasury Management and ensure availability of funds as needed. Liaison with Bankers for cash credit facility and foreign remittances.
Played key role in implementation of new ERP System NetSuite for India and US Entities.
Completed Post-Merger activities for the amalgamation of two Indian Entities into iMedX India. Also, involved in Due Diligence activities and Process & Functional Integration of acquired businesses.
Partner with HR in driving accurate and consistent headcount reporting and ensuring MT compensation plans are structured to deliver desired financials and operational results such as Cost and Productivity.
Work with various business functions in reviewing annual and monthly forecasted financial targets/ goals, analysis and measurement in order to meet expense management.
Key role in Capital Expenditure Plans for India Operations. Key member of Purchase Committee and Compensation Committee.
