PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Nortel Versatile Service Engine (VSE) is a second generation, ATCA-compliant platform that meets the processing needs of wireless and wire line computer, packet and media process applications.
The operating system is Nortel Carrier Grade Linux (NCGL) open-source Linux with Nortel carrier-grade features added to it. By using an industry-standard operating system, the Versatile Service Engine takes advantage of the latest enhancements in security, multithreading multi-processing, scalability and robustness.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
BT Group plc (formerly British Telecommunications plc, abbreviated to British Telecom, and still occasionally referred to as such) is the privatized former state telecommunications operator in the United Kingdom. It is the dominant fixed line telecommunications and broadband Internet provider in the UK, and also operates in more than 170 countries around the world.
In the Telecom reseller system in Europe deployed by British telecommunications plc, a new component (ERS) European reseller system is incorporated which monitors the reseller, subreseller, users under the particular reseller. It also corresponds to adding/ managing the access, services, and login information of the users/ admin users.
The component also plays role in getting the reports for the total users present in the system with their corresponding access rights and desired services.
Number allocations, port in, port out, Block request, block allocation are some of the features in the component.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
QANTAS airways is a biggest airways across Australia and of course the biggest employer. They fly thousands of flight everyday. There are numerous applications involved in this.
AIRPAC is a disruption management tool customized for Qantas by Constraint Technologies International. It shows flight details from -50 days to +90 days. It accumulates information from various systems like OGS, QUBE, CAMEO, CTMS, MAESTRO, ARMS and displays real time information in the form of a Gantt chart. AIRPAC runs on workstations and connects to servers to gather information updates. A view only web interface called WEBPAC is also available for AIRPAC.
This is used for monitoring passenger and crew information, scheduling, forecasting and updating flight ant, aircraft planned maintenance. Maintenance data and scheduling data are processed and displayed to depict appropriate schedules for flight. Information is colour coded for easy recognition of status of the schedule.
AIRMAN/ AIRCOM are the mission critical applications which comes into act in the context of maintenance of aircrafts and the messages flow between aircrafts to other ground stations or between interfaces.
