Job Description

Essential Job Functions

Comprehensive project leadership for central projects.
Responsible for Project Transition
End-to-end coordination and management of projects according to project life-cycle.
Management of project teams, build and motivate project team, address delivery issues.
Management of project stakeholder relationship and communication within SIPS and with Siemens customers.
Ongoing budget, schedule and quality management of projects.
Identify, manage and resolve project risks and issues.
Project reporting and tracking.

Qualifications/ Job Requirements:

Significant knowledge and at least three years experience in leading midsize projects in a corporate environment. (duration typically between a few months up to two years).
Specialized knowledge in handling A&F Transitions with atleast 2 3 transition experience
Proven ability to lead and motivate project team without formal authority over team members and in a virtual environment.
Ability to manage project budgets of medium complexity and to interact effectively with finance organization.
Ability to deal effectively with complex organizational environments that may at times be ambivalent or political.
Experience with organizational change projects and change management is plus.
Experience with process management and process improvement projects and methods is a plus.
Project Management certification is a plus but not a requirement.
Degree in Commerce & Accounting
Post Graduate degree in Accounting with relevant experience is also acceptable.
Additional qualification in Business & Management is preferred but not required. Alternate degree with relevant experience is also acceptable.
Broad general business understanding with a focus on global companies is important.
Open personality that can actively engage with stakeholders and build trusting relationships.
Excellent English language skills spoken and written
Good communications skills in person, on the phone and via e-mail.
Good familiarity with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to prepare comprehensive presentations in PowerPoint in self-reliant manner based on business input is a plus.
Very good familiarity with MS Project. Ability to train project team members in usage of MS Project.
Ability to acquire new subject matter knowledge fast and effectively.
Attention to detail and reliability in execution of responsibilities.
Self starter, ability to find solutions to given problems with limited supervision.
Some background in one of our functional areas (HR, IT, Finance/ Accounting, Procurement/ Mobilty/ Logistics) is a plus.
