Perform statistical analysis on field/ interview data
Design/ Manage/ Query customer databases using Access
Respond to custom/ ad hoc requests for data reports (access, excel, SPSS)
Partners with client teams in their efforts to grow client portfolios via the delivery of customer and market insights and have the ABILITY TO WRITE WHITE PAPERS/ ARTICLES.
Analyzes, summarizes and presents results for all research projects. Regularly reviews ongoing research for trends. Provides insight on these findings and ensures key findings are shared with appropriate internal audiences.
Supports Market Research and Intelligence Managers with broad consumer research projects including consumer attitudinal studies, new industry analyses, niche market studies and ad hoc client research requests.
Responsible for taking key research findings and trends to appropriate internal teams.
Works with Sales and Sales Support team to support primary research needs for key prospect targeting.
Responsible for recommending research methodologies to various internal and external clients.
Uses market research information to contribute to ideation sessions in new product development and strategic planning.
Ensures outside vendors deliver quality research services and that each vendor used is approved through a due diligence process.
Work with IT/ Business Applications development team to spec out/ test custom online reporting tools, online surveys, etc.
Work with team and client in creating actionable recommendations

Candidate Profile
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Sociology or related field
At least 2-5 years of experience in the Market Research industry, ideally within Chemical Industries (Plastics) and or Retail Industries.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Experience/ demonstrated skill executing both quantitative and qualitative research methods and analysis
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, SPSS and Excel is required
Strong numeric and problem solving orientation
Strong attention to detail, strategic insight, oral and written communication skills
Strong report generation skills (i. e. command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
Demonstrated ability to write bullet-point data analysis
Knowledge of financial firms and the financial sector helpful, but not required
