Roles & Responsibilities Help all projects to meet the quality objective
Provide technical leadership in the area of testing
Assist projects to define and periodically review their test strategies.
Improve functional quality of the releases through identification of corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis of defects leaked.
Raise alerts to management and team to address any concerns related to quality, schedule or scope of work of QA.
Identify and base line skills expected from QA associates and to build skills and capabilities of the QA team members through focus group activities.
Have well defined assessment methods to hiring high quality testers and for evaluation of testers assigned to projects.
Review the implementation of testing processes in projects and suggest changes, enhancements to ensure high quality delivery and also improve productivity.
Define and establish testing activities and measurements for a new project during setup activities.
Review and address QA staffing needs as the project progresses.
o Ramp up/ down.
o Resource Transitions.
o Assessing organizational resource needs.
Setup and Track career path for every QA Engineer.
o Performance appraisals for all QA Engineers.
