Bachelor of engineering or graduate degree in IT from a recognized university.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the relevant area with a reputed IT organization
Good working experience on any one or more of the operating systems like HP-UX, Sun-Solaris, Red Hat Linux Advance Server and Windows Operating systems
Working experience on VERITAS Storage Foundation will be an added value.
Excellent skills to trouble shoot the OS related issues and fine tune the OS parameters for the performance issues.
Good knowledge on scripting
Should have specialized knowledge on any one or more Operating Systems like Linux, HP-Unix, IBM-AIX, Sun Solaris 10, Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 5 with SAN storage environment
Working experience in SAN storage environment
Thorough working knowledge in ITIL environment with exposure to performance monitoring, configuration management, capacity planning, incident management,
Ability to introduce new Technology
Should be able to prepare Request for Proposals and skills to perform technical evaluation of the proposals.
Proficient with networking is preferred
Airline Experience will be an added value
Should have good communication and documentation skills
