Our Qatar client (a major bank) is embarking on a major restructuring of their entire infrastructure involving systems, network, data center, mainframe, telecom, POS, Storage, backup/ recovery and consolidation of the same.
Towards this they need a infrastructure architecture manager urgently to manage the entire project from end to end.
The role of this manager is to study the existing infrasture, understand the overall direction and consolidation objectives of the bank, suggest the overall strategy and implementation roadmap, prepare a comprehensive consolidation project plan, work with the application, networking, infrastruture and database vendors as required, track the project and manage all the activities related to the project.
The duration of this assignment is 6-7 months and the candidate is required to be present in Qatar onsite during the duration of the project.

The current domains involved are AS400, DB2, Unix, Oracle, Informix, Windows, VMS.

The candidate to have expertise in similar projects involving these domains and managing similar consolidation/ rationalisation projects.

. At least 5 year experience as Infrastructure Architecture
. Well knowledge in Banking applications
