| Job Description Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet client needs and requirements
Identifies resources needed, assigns and tracks individual responsibilities.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
Effectively applies SDLC methodology and enforces project standards
Follows quality assurance process.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Tracks and reports project status on a weekly basis
Coordinates project pipeline, forecast and capacity plan |
| Candidate Profile Between 12 -15 years of overall experience including at least 5 years as a Project manager in a large company
Proven experience with managing medium size projects using the off shore model
Overseas (US) experience
Ability to evaluate and attract new talent
Experience in financial services industry.
Experience in local conditions (Chennai)
Possesses a working understanding in the areas of application architecture, programming, testing, database and system design.
Understands Internet and J2EE architectures. Knowledge of Java programming and Struts architecture a plus.
Experience with reporting tools and SQL databases
Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. |
