| Job Description We require an experienced and qualified analyst programmer who can also undertake the test lead for major projects. Working from our modern offices in Uckfield but with the opportunity to visit clients, you will mainly be working on financial projects so experience in this area is essential
Main duties:
Gather information from clients direct or from our consultants.
Analyse, design, develop and test on a variety of projects - mainly financial.
Perform Quality related activities ie. Improvement, Implementation, Test Planning, Testing Review.
Generate various types of Project Metrics for project tracking and MIS reporting.
Produce staffing resources on projects and also in estimation of budget/ cost in terms of efforts/ schedule etc.
Design/ development/ testing of Microsoft applications from Client server to Web based systems.
Skills & Technologies:
You will have a computer related degree with prior experience in a commercial environment of not less than 1 year, with checkable references
Excellent English both written and oral.
Client Facing skills
Microsoft qualifications are considered useful but not essential
Languages: C, C ++, VB, VC++, HTML, VB. NET, ASP. NET
Testing Tools: Rational Testing Tool, Quick Test Pro, Test Director.
Operating Systems: Windows 2000, XP, DOS, Linux, AIX, Web logic
Databases: SQL server, DB2 on Linux, mySQL, Oracle 9i |
