| Job Description Our client based in London is looking for an IT Network and Communications Analyst.
You will be responsible for the support, monitoring and maintenance of the clients IP network infrastructure and involved in implementing and suggesting improvements as necessary. Upon joining, you will almost certainly be involved in the planning and implementation of a migration to IP Telephony.
The successful candidate will have strong networking experience that includes configuring and supporting Switches, Hubs and Routers (preferably Cisco). In addition to your general networking experience, knowledge of, or experience with network security including Firewalls is also a must. Ideally your experience will be underpinned by Cisco qualification such as a CCNA or CCNP. Experience with, or a distinct interest in IP applications such as IPTV is highly sought after. My client is also extremely keen to interview someone who still retains a good knowledge of Windows platforms, as there may be the occasional requirement to provide some basic support in this area.
You will also have a relevant degree or three years experience at NVQ level 3.
