Should be able to solution design or redesign for security solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
To work as Consultant to the customers for security domain handling both firewall based security and appliance based security products.
The job responsibilities include, providing technical escalation support to resources in field on various security product break fix calls like watchguard, nokia, juniper netscreen, ISS, RSA, Ironport, Blue coat etc.
Would be involved in Technical Solution Architecting and will provide Design inputs to the customers along with the Presales and Sales Teams.
Should also work closely with presales and product sales team for new business opportunities and capturing product sales trends forecast.
The resource is also responsible for skill development building L1, L2 and L3 resouces in the security domain across regions.
The resource should also liason with various vendors and principals in this domain and manage relationship from technical cases point of view and service delivery point of view.
The resource should also travel extensively and meet key customers in the domain to position proactive services and courtesy visit s.
Should also drive initiatives like engineer certifications, contribution to knowledge management, creating RCA templates, monthly report formats on escalation case resolution performance etc.
Capturing and sharing best practices for field support in the domain should also be taken up as initiatives.
