Designation : Test Engineer

JOB PROFILE:

Responsible for the development and execution of test plans, test scenarios and test cases for all functionalities assigned. The test engineer may also be responsible for Test environment setup. Must have good command of English language, ability to understand system requirements documentation and develop preliminary testing documentation. Tester Engineer also investigates problems uncovered during testing, recreating those problems as appropriate and executing fix validations.
Required
At least 1 to 2 years experience in writing test cases and test scripts, executing test cases
At least 1 to 2 years experience in integration testing
Should have good experience in Web Application as well as practical work carried out in PHP, MYSQL
Experience in management of defects and issues. Understanding of defect stages;
Ability to read and understand system requirements and system design documents and produce preliminary test plans and test cases;
Ability to perform defect analysis and collaborate with development team members to ensure resolution
Good command of English language;
Valuable additional skills
Experience in writing technical documentation;
Experience as software developer;
Knowledge about test tools and testing

DESIGNATION: TEST MANAGER

Job Profile:

Test Manager should possess broad knowledge of all testing events throughout the development lifecycle. Should have good interpersonal and communication skills and is able to deal directly with client/ users. Takes a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to testing and problem solving.

Required:

Should have good experience in Web Application as well as practical work carried out in PHP, MYSQL
Takes responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project.
Plans or oversees the planning of the system and acceptance tests and coordinates the execution of these plans.
Takes responsibility for early life-cycle validation and verification.
Takes responsibility for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project.
Fulfils the role of Testing Co-ordinator for a development project or programme of projects.
Co-ordinates all activities and all testers during each testing phase of a project or programme.
Co-operates with clients/ users and senior staff as required to agree the testing strategy to be employed for development projects. Maintains awareness of testing alternatives at a level where they can be analysed and the most effective testing strategy selected and agreed.
Utilises testing knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the practicality of testing process alternatives. Identifies improvements to the process and assists in their implementation.
Ensures that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients/ users and colleagues. Manages all risks associated with the testing and takes preventative action when any risks become unacceptable.
Provides authoritative advice and guidance to colleagues on any aspect of testing, including training for testers and other developers where appropriate.
