Hands-on Client Software Test Engineer with test planning, execution, analysis and test automation skills to ensure infrastructure deliveries of high quality while performing alpha and beta performance tests.

Degree in M. Tech/ B. Tech Computer Science with 4-10 years work experience

Key member of the engineering team for next generation of end-to-end wireless location solutions eventually leading to rapid adoption of mobile location-based services (LBS). Position is for software testing of LBS server solutions
Involves Test planning and execution, alpha and beta tests
M. Tech/ PhD will be preferred

Should have:
1. Experience in testing one of more core network wireless servers - GMLC, BSC, MSC, GMLC, SGSN, GGSN
2. Command on Unix and scripting languages
3. Experience in white box testing of wireless protocol stack and call processing modules
4. Experience in configuring and testing software modules in multi-thread OS environment
5. Experience in planning, configuring & testing servers which are high performance, Fault Tolerant (Five 9s) and scalable.
6. Experience in C++ and Java based server white Box Testing
7. Experience in operational maintenance and testing of pre-deployment and post-deployment wireless network servers
8. Experience in test planning, test case development and execution.
9. Used unit test frameworks and code coverage tools
10. An understanding of engineering processes - understand the criticality of test - in software development lifecycle
11. Worked on integrated environments and have a systems perspective
12. Be flexible to pick up any new tool for automation and also explore tools for test
13. Test experience in Web Services, SOAP, Parlay, ParlayX standards.
14. Test exposure to Java Application servers, for e. g. IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, Weblogic etc.
15. Exposure to Cluster computing environment is desirable.
16. Experience in LBS, AGPS, hybrid location technology (cell id, wi-fi, rssi, rfid etc) is desirable
17. Experience of working in agile environment is desirable
