Familiarity with Linux and Windows
Desirable:
Knowledge of the SIP protocol
Knowledge of H323, H248, MGCP and Skinny (SCCP) would be helpful.
Understanding of End to End Enterprise/ Carrier solutions
Any Nortel product specific knowledge related to provisioning or system administration.
Generic network knowledge related to:
IP network configuration
IP network impairment testing
IP network security and vulnerability analysis
Additional for Architect:
A senior designer with architecture experience building scalable and resilient large scale systems suing J2EE technologies. Good written and communication skills for requirements gathering and communications to other teams. Will be direct interface into the Ottawa architecture team, and must be comfortable working in this remote relationship. |
