| Job Description *Experience or a passion for working with medical products.
*Knowledge and Experience with RoHS related comliance work. Plastic part design using injection molding,
pressure forming, and foamed parts.
*Working knowledge with materials engineering, processes, mechanical properties. Demonstrated experience in
building engineering prototypes and conducting design validation tests
*Ability to conduct verification and validation activities.
*Ability to design mechanisms, sheet metal parts, machined parts, Castings and Plastic parts
*Proven hands-on expertise in one or more CAD tools (I-DEAS, UniGraphics) for feature-based parametric modeling and assembly modeling.
*Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance. Understanding of Finite element analysis and use of FEA tools. (ANSYS)
*Working knowledge in low-to-medium volume fabrication and machining methods.
(machining, sand and investment casting, welding, Sheet metal processing and secondary finsihing processes)
*Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills and has the ability to work and inspire others in a multi-functional team environment.
*Must be a self-starter Excellent verbal and written communication skills |
