C, C++, DSP, Image Processing
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical ngineering.
5 7+ years of relevant industry experience in the domain of image processing and/ or digital signal processing (DSP)
Experience in developing software for complex systems or computerized products.
Demonstrated proficiency in C and C++ programming. (Linux environment will be a plus).
Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP) concepts and Unified Modeling Language (UML).

Desired Characteristics:
Strong understanding of DSP/ image processing algorithms and/ or previous experience in GPU programming.
Capabilities to design, develop, optimize and trouble shoot core image processing and signal processing algorithms.
Excellent working knowledge of C/ C++.
Good knowledge of object oriented design methodologies/ UML and software architecture.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Familiarity with industry software development practices, tools and environments
Software development lifecycle from requirements to system integration.
Configuration Management systems
- Concepts and tools: Clear Case, CVS or equivalent
-Defect tracking tools and processes
- Concepts and tools: DDTS, ClearQuest or equivalent. -Debuggers
- Concepts and tools: gvd, ddd, total view or equivalent. -Software Builds
