Purpose of the role:

Development role within the technical team implementing the high- performance web applications. You will be working on building scalable and highly available systems. This includes performance tuning and enhancements. You will also have to work with the team in defining the technical roadmap of the product.

1. Strong UNIX knowledge on profiling applications specially web servers. Knowledge on tools for measuring network load, processor load, mercury usage.
2. Expert in Internet technologies (HTML, HTTP, TCP/ IP, SOAP, XML, JavaScript etc. )
3. Having the knowledge of network, multi-thread, event-based programming, and distributed systems.
4. Experience using other common open source tools (SVN, BAZAAR, TRAC, etc. )
5. Knowledge of life cycle processes, tools, and technologies.
6. Work with dynamic scripting languages (Python, Perl)
7. Strong knowledge of C for extending python on critical speed code.
8. Experience with twisted, django is a plus.
9. Experience in deploying high load web servers.
