| Job Description Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Join the team of Life Sciences, India as Design Engineer and deliver the mechanical projects for LS..
The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed CAD designs, assemblies and documentation for Medical Products
Create medium to high-level design, layout, and documentation using PRO-E CAD systems for advanced medical products. These efforts will include:
1. Creation of well-structured CAD models and drawings.
2. Routine tolerance analyses and detailed dimensioning relating to final component documentation using ANSI and ISO standards.
3. Execution of documentation changes via established Engineering Change procedures.
4. Research and generate recommendations for use of various types of vended hardware and materials.
5. Liaison with manufacturing and service organizations on component and kit development activities.
6 Liaison with other Engineering Disciplines for determination of product layout and packaging approaches.
Exposure to global quality & regulatory standards
Proven expertise in Conceptualization, detail design, basic FE simulations, design calculations, material selection, CAD modeling, Prototyping, Verification and Validation of a complete new product introduction.
In-depth understanding of feature-based parametric modeling/ assembly modeling, with hands-on experience using large-scale commercial CAD packages (Pro E).
Experience with one or more commercial finite element packages (ANSYS and I-Deas).
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Experience on design documentation to comply with ISO and European standards.
Experience with medical products/ Instrumentation.
Experience with plastic part design using injection molding, pressure forming, and foamed parts. |
