| Job Description Based in Mumbai
Reporting directly to Group Manager of Accounting and Finance at the Global HQ, you will be leading the Accounting and Finance function of the Company's new India operations.
You are expected to be hands-on during the early stages of operations. This position is an opportunity for extensive exposure to the Company's businesses.
* Provide leadership and be responsible for all aspects of financial controlling, including accounting, financial and management reporting, budgeting/ forecasting, tax, cash management/ treasury, cost control, operational analysis and maintenance of internal controls and operational analysis.
* Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of accounts for the Company and meet corporate compliance with respect to legal, statutory, operational accounting/ reporting policies and requirements including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted by the European Union.
* Review and track performance of monthly results, analyze financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results to track any variances.
* Recommend, streamline and roll out improvement to the business processes, internal control procedures and ensure compliance.
* Responsible for all financial management reporting and statutory audit.
* Responsible for company credit facilities and Treasury function.
Requirements:

* Bachelor/ Master's degree in Accountancy, qualified CA with at least 10 years of experience.
* Experience in Public Accounting Firms and at least 6 years of experience an accounting and finance capacity.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Matured, independent, pro-active, self motivated individual who is able to work well under pressure
* Good technical Knowledge of Indian Financial Reporting Standards and EU-IFRS.
