3 - 5 yrs audit exposure, in a accounting firm/ reputed manufacturing firm, with adequate knowledge of auditing. Auditng in computersied package would be added advantages.
Candidate Profile
To head the internal audit function (team of 3/ 4 members), under the direction of the Audit Unit Head, for providing positive assurance on adequacy of risk management and controls. 1) Draw up an audit charter.
2) Responsible for preparation/ implementation of a comprehensive annual audit plan and related check lists.
3) Conduct audit reviews, with a strong sense of independence, maturity/ objectivity, to provide value add by assuring resources are effectively utilized, risk/ control framework is in place, business policies/ procedures/ processes are fit for purpose.
4) Conduct special studies as may be required by management from time to time.
5) Make careful recommendations after each assignment; suggest more efficient kk systems, identify strengths and weaknesses; give advance warning of potential breaches of regulation.
