We are looking for highly qualified software engineer who is up to the challenge of designing and developing the next generation web based applications. The candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing applications based on business requirements.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, proven engineering contributor with leadership experience on analysis and design. S/ he will have a proven track record for delivering high quality products on time that meet or exceed the product requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing product requirements, collaborating on design, and supporting the implementation of Pricing solutions using PHP, VB, C/ C++ and Java. This position will involve working closely with and collaborating with the client to develop the backend framework. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn about airline business and the intricacies of airline pricing and inventory management.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of a BE/ MCA degree.
- 3 or more years of professional experience developing mission-critical applications.
- 3 or more years of prior work experience with Java and/ or C/ C++.
- Experience in PHP/ Perl is a plus but not required.
- Strong skills in developing web solutions that are scalable, extensible, and maintainable.
- History of delivering successful software products on time.
- Practitioner of full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, specification, documentation, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Accomplished communication and interpersonal skills.
3 or more years with SQL, MySQL preferred.
- Knowledge of airline pricing and inventory management is a plus.
