-- Backup Services upkeep and maintenance
-- Administering the backup procedures
-- Administration of Backup Software (Veritas, Netbackup)
-- Coordination with Veritas for TAC raised, bugs etc
-- Checking backup data integrity
o Ensure proper storage and handling of media to prevent media loss
-- Auditing backup data & library
-- Restoration drills once in a quarter
-- Collate backup reports
-- Tape Management
o Label media for identification and retrieval
o Documentation of entire process of tape handling and management
-- Report creation/ Escalation
-- Status Updates
