Project Modules Detail

1. Pre Sales:-This module helps to Sales department of an Automobile Sector. When a new customer comes then a sales executive opens an enquiry form for that customer. It gives them a unique enquiry no. This project keeps follow-up information for existing customers, so in this way, it helps a sales executive to keep in-touch with his/ her customers. A sales executive can see his/ her follow-ups report output. When a customer books a vehicle to purchase then a Sales executive switch to next module (The Sales module)

2. Sales :-This module takes booking of new vehicle then a new account of a new customer is opened in Financial Accounting module and a unique booking number is generated by software. When complete payment of vehicle comes in account then accountant make invoice of that vehicle by the name of customer.

3. Financial Accounting:-This module keeps track of all financial transactions related to customer payments, and all other kind of Accounts transaction whether in sale department or in workshop department.

4. MIS(Management Information System) :-This module shows every kind of report which management wants to see on monthly or weekly or daily basis.

5. Workshop:-When a vehicle sold then it comes in workshop module for service and repair purpose. In workshop a unique Jobcard no is allocated to customer. labour and part details record in jobcard and again transaction goes to financial accounting module of workshop to prepare invoice. After that a customer can collect gate pass and can go from workshop.

6. CRM(Customer Relationship Management) :-When a vehicle delivers to a customer then sales feedback reports and customer profile taken by CRM keeps in this module. CRM sends letter to customers for birthday wishes, wedding Anniversary wishes, post service
follow-up letters and service reminder letters. CRM can take appointments from customers to book their vehicle for service or repair.

As an EDP Incharge providing support to various types of departments like Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Service, Telecalling etc. My responsibilities include:
X Maintain Database on regular basis.
X Monitor Database performance on daily basis.
X Create new objects as per user requirements.
X Create new users and grant rights to them.
X Edit and update information if any kind of mull or bad data entered by applications user.
X Write SQL Queries to Generate Reports according to the need of departments.
X Extract information from database to excel files through iSQL*Plus.
X Take cold backup and logical Backup of database through export/ import utilities for security purpose of database.
X Writing PL/ SQL programs, Database Sequences, Procedures, functions, cursors, triggers for the application.
X Troubleshooting as and when necessary.
X Providing help to end users and trained them about the project.
X Install Oracle 9i client as well as server according to need.
