Tiscali is a system which deals with the mobile communication operations.
The project deals with the data migration. The data from Pipex system(Source) has to be migrated to Tiscali system(Target). Source data from pipex system was needed to be extracted into CSV files. The extracted data was then transformed and loaded into the target system i. e tiscali.
The other activities into this migration is cleansing of source data.

Title : Development and Implementation of UPSS

Scope : The main objective is to migrate individual circles data into UPSS system.
Description : Vodafone is one of the largest cellular operators in India which has presence in 23 circles across India. Each circle has its own independent support system to handle prepaid operation. As a strategic decision Vodafone is in the process of developing Unified Prepaid Support System (UPSS) which will be a homogeneous system to support prepaid subscribers across India. On completion of UPSS development and to make UPSS operational, data from the existing prepaid support systems pertaining to the subscribers must be migrated to the target UPSS database.

Responsibilities Held : 1. Analyzing the Column mapping sheets, Developing Packages, Procedures and Functions to implement the Business Logic, Documentation, Testing and Debugging.
2. Generating DQR report (data quality report).
3. Handling pre-migration activities.
