ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Engagement/ Relations

Actively involved in cultivating and maintaining healthy employee and employer relation in the organization by bridging up the dissatisfaction gap.
Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties' interests
Grievance Handling: Handling employee grievances by conducting skip level interviews followed by organizing disciplinary action committees (if needed).
Conducting brown-bag sessions with teams to understand their pain areas and helping them get those resolved by following up with other stakeholders.
Represent the management at meetings that involve employee benefits, compensation and discipline issues.
Initiate and conduct timely investigations, prepare documentation and make recommendations for corrective/ disciplinary actions.
Support and/ or coordinate new hire orientations.
Running and organizing employee engagement programs as motivational tools.
Coordinating with Payroll & Benefits team for salary related queries and other issues related with Payroll

Training & Mentoring

Provide senior management coaching to address and resolve employee issues.
Keeping employees updated about changes in HR policies in the company.
Implement/ administer/ interpret corporate policies/ programs/ procedures and downloading it further to senior management.

Recruitment & Induction:-

Lateral Recruitment sourcing CVs through various sources like Job Portals, Referrals and Consultants, Interview management, candidate selection and completing the entire process end to end
Involved in Campus Recruitment.
Planning and Implementing Induction plan for New Joinees and sending Induction Plan across concerned Departmental heads ensuring hassle free process.
Taking care of employee grievances and solving them with utmost priority and importance for overcoming dissatisfaction gap at initial stage.

Compensation & Payroll Processing:-

Validating and sending Salary Inputs for new hires to payroll for timely and smooth running of payroll.
To handle PF withdrawal/ transfer issues for ex-employees and ESI related Issues with employees in coordination with ESI and PF authorities.
Coordinating with Payroll & Benefits team for salary related queries and other issues related with Payroll.
Handling F&F issues for ex-employees.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Bachelor of Management and Information Technology, Dehradun, 2003.
Master in Personnel Management, Pune, 2005.

Won Award as Star of the quarter OND 05 for my dedicated and sincere approach in managing the gamut of HR single-handedly without any supervision.
Won Award as Star of the month for June06 for taking initiative in streamlining payroll process and for ensuring smooth salary disbursement process without unnecessary delays.
Won Award as Star of the month for September06 for taking extra efforts and initiative in running the Annual ROR program Lord of the Rings dexterously and for streamlining and making centralized employee database.
Recognized as one of the exceptional contributor and was awarded for the category of The Best Enabling Team of the Quarter OND06 for downloading company policies to all departmental heads for building crystal clear expectations of the company and for completing Filing project ensuring employment history of employees.
