Sales and Targets: Responsible for sales and targets across the Jumbo retail showrooms for various brands like Nokia, Sony Erickson, LG, HTC, Black Berry, Motorola, Samsung, Etisalat and Du.
Ensuring that the top and bottom line gross margins are achieved.
Marketing Programs: Implementation of marketing activities at the retail level, which includes ATL and BTL activities.
In store POP and POS deployment across the showrooms to ensure maximum returns from the same.
Overseeing in store promotional activities, which include celebrity visits, Festive promotions etc.
Directing and overseeing the activities of the visual merchandiser across the retail stores.
Manpower: Directly leading a team of 60 front end sales staff and responsible for
1) Store deployment
2) Manpower rotation across the showrooms.
3) Designing and implementing retail store incentives schemes.
Customer care: Monitoring the customer feedback at the retail stores.
Interpretation and scrutinizing the same so as to be in sync with the prevailing market conditions.
Resolving escalated customer complaints by interacting with the relevant service centers and vendors to reduce TAT and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintaining records and details of resolved issues as per the ISO norms.
Inventory: Judiciously monitoring the inventory levels across all the retail store.
Maintaining a healthy inventory by coordinating with the category managers to introduce new bundle offers, price revisions, sales staff incentives etc, as and when the need arises.
Training of staff: Conducting regular staff training modules on selling skills, product knowledge and customer orientation.
Implementing regular training programs for the staff that are organized by the principles and vendors.
Ensuring staff participation at various self-development programs and quizzes.
Competitor Analysis: Generating weekly reports with reference to competitors pricing and marketing initiatives.
Coordinating with the Brand managers to ensure price stability and marketing support as required from the principles and vendors.
Special Events: Managing special events like Gitex, warehouse sale etc.
Others: New Store Openings.
Overlooking the entire telecoms setup at the new stores in respect to architectural design, Branding, POS material etc.
Hiring of sales staff and deployment.
Demographic profiling etc.
