Present Employment Details:

Design Engineer in M/ S Machford Enterprises, Coimbatore from Sep 2007. Machford Enterprises is a leading organization in design and modeling works for making Tools and Die for various leading companies.

I was involved in the below listed projects during my tenure in Machford Enterprises.

1. Housing oil pump:

Description: Housing oil pump - a part of the engines lubricating system was modeled using complex surfaces, projected curves and production quality drawing was created.

Responsibilities:

My role involved creating surface models, assembly and 2D drawing creation.
In this project I have modeled more than 20 components.

2. Brackets:

Description: Brackets which are used for mounting and to provide a sturdy support are available in varied sizes and shapes which were customized as per specific requirements of our valued clients.

My role involved creating surface models, assembly and 2D drawing creation

3. SRE Bracket:

Description: The alternators of the electrical systems include stators, d. E bracket, s. R. E brackets and other components. This project involves creating 3D models of s. R. E Brackets and production quality drawing was created.

My role involved creating surface models, assembly and 2D drawing creation.

Tool Used: Pro-E Wildfire-2

4. Speedometer Needle:

Description: The Speedometer basically comprises of the odometer and the speed indicator/ needle sections. In this project the speedometer needle was modeled with the given specifications.

In this assignment I have created 3D Models.

Previous Employment Details:

Employed as Production Engineer in M/ s Karivarathan Engineering Works, Coimbatore from Feb 2005 to Aug 2007. M/ s Karivarathan Engineering Works is into the manufacturing of textile machinery accessories and equipments.

Responsibilities:

Supervising the operation of manufacturing textile machinery accessories, equipment and systems taking into account cost, availability of materials, strength and maintenance requirements, appearance and impact on the user and on the environment.
Undertook the design of the specified tools.
Managed the maintenance of factory production and machinery.
Involved in the maintenance of the thorough life cycle of the machinery accessories from receiving the requirement to the product completion.
Process Planning involves Shearing, punching, sheet rolling, notching, bending, welding & finishing.
