Role and Responsibilities: -
. Leading the REINSURANCE module for all the products of the project.
. Designing scenarios, cases and calculation methods from Reinsurance testing aspects.
. Guiding the team members about reinsurance module, rules in reinsurance and terms related to it
. Application UI testing covering Functional, Validation and GUI Aspects
Writing Test Cases for some of the core Modules along with Reviewing Test Cases written by team members/ subordinates as and when needed.
. Reporting the Project Manager on the Project Status on a Weekly as well as need basis.
. Preparation of Weekly dash board & test report.

Designation: - Test Engineer
Duration: - August 2008- March 2009
Developer: - Computer Sciences Corporation, Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities:-
. Guiding the team members regarding their queries for the enhancement.
. Checking with client for the doubts, clarifications for the enhancement. Attending the weekly meeting with client regarding the upcoming enhancements. Understanding Business specifications from business users, drafting of requirements, Drawing DFDs and design test cases.
. Executing the test cases and daily defect reporting to the client. Documentation of the test assets as per the format specified by the client and Completing handover as per clients expectation.
. Creating Impact Documents for the enhancements including their impact on other modules, new creations in system and impact on the previous setup if enhancement is the CR.
. Reporting the Daily status of the team work and weekly dashboard to the client which includes all the execution details for the whole week with the defect summary, status of each enhancement on the weekend, execution effective time and next week testing plan.

Description: - Life Asia (LA) software is developed by Computer Sciences Corporation Ltd. (CSC), a Singapore based Company. Life Asia is an AS400 (End Terminal) application mainly used for performing Life insurance related transactions like creating and issuing the insurance policies and performing the servicing for the same throughout its life cycle.
