Accomplishments:

 For High Availability, Migrated the 3 different Production environments (HRMS, FSCM, CRM) from old hardware (Servers) with normal architecture contains single web, single Application Server to new powerful servers with an architecture each contains 2 Webservers, 2 Application servers with load balancing.
 Created and implemented a Disaster Recovery (DR) site at different geographical location (at Pune) contains 3 Production environments (HRMS, FSCM, CRM).
 Mock People Tool upgrade done from 8. 42 to 8. 49, 8. 44 to 8. 49 and 8. 45 to 8. 49 (for HRMS, FSCM and CRM respectively).

Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration and setting up People Soft 8. 42, 8. 44, 8. 45 and 8. 49 environments with MS SQL Server.
Installed People Soft Internet Architecture (PIA) for various People Soft environments which include 2 Web servers, 2 Application Server, 4 Process Schedulers each.
Implementing digital certificates (SSL) from VeriSign for weblogic 8. 1 & Weblogic 6. 1.
Upgraded the Web logic server from 8. 1 SP1 to SP6 Patch 8 and tuxedo RP from 041 to 342 for Production and development boxes.
Implemented Single Sign on between HRMS, FSCM, CRM environments.
Using Change Assistant for applying update, fixes, patches and
Maintenance packs.
Configured load balancing between the application servers for the above
architecture for availability.
Migrating projects from TEST Database into Production.
Configuring integration broker between environments
Configured more than one web server, application server domain like DEV,
TEST, STAG and UAT on the same server for Development environments
Creating FTP sites using IIS on Application servers for uploading files for
PeopleSoft Applications.
Knowledge in compiling COBOL.
Tuned the PSAPPSRV. CFG configuration file for performance tuning.
Knowledge in administering Weblogic and managing memory heaps.
Creating user and configuring user profiles, roles, permission lists.
Granting full access/ read only access permissions to the users for
Application Designer.
Granting access for users for People Tools like Application Designer,
n-Vision and Data Mover.
Installed all versions of People Books as a single site and enabled context search help.
Installed and configured the client workstation so that the clients will use Application designer data mover etc.
Administering Application server and Process Scheduler Server using psadmin utility.
Checked and cleared the application server cache on a regular basis as maintenance.
Connecting Oracle People Soft customer connection site for solutions,
updates, fixes, documentation and creating cases for issues.
Monitoring process scheduler jobs on regular basis for their success/ failure.
Refreshing the production database into DEV, TEST, STAG, UAT based on
the requirement.
Also knowledge in installing People Soft 8. 4x on Oracle 9i and 10g on
windows.
Knowledge in configuring and Using Performance Monitor.
Configured Tuxedo web server for monitoring the tuxedo services.
Documenting all the procedures and findings for future references
