Project Details

CCH-NextGen (Commerce Clearing House)

NextGen is a tax product. An individual, a firm or an institution can be a client to this product. NextGen helps client to compute tax liabilities, file tax, automatically generate correspondence documents etc.
Throughout my tenure in Mindtree, I worked in the project CCH-NextGen, though the team/ modules were different.

Current Project

CCH-UI-AUTOMATION

UI Automation team is responsible for developing automation test scripts to run and test application flow without human interaction. Power QA comes with the scenarios and the input data. We are expected to automate the process of creating test scripts so that the scripts are generated as and when required. This is achieved through a mechanism where the UI element information is stored in the database, and methods for every small task are written beforehand. A tool is used that uses database and methods to generate test scripts on the fly.

CCH-API-CORRESPONDENCE

Correspondence is a part of Next Gen that deals with letters to government. It manages the correspondence library as well as auto generation of tax documents.

Library: Library maintains correspondence elements wiz letter types, templates, paragraphs, paragraph sections, grammar variables, keywords etc.

Letter generation (Print): Documents are created by a work flow with the help of different services. Documents get generated as and when needed for Printing.
