Tasks undertaken:

Configured and Commissioned routers and switches for more than 120 Eastern Railway sites in CRIS WAN project.

Project Details: Responsible for configuring and installing Cisco routers, switches and LAN extenders for computerized unreserved ticketing system of Eastern Railway Division. Managing the network as well as the core 7206 routers, configuring wan IP matching of E1 channels, physical interfaces, configuring logical tunnels on the core routers and the remote routers to establish V- SAT links, HSRP configuration, general troubleshooting etc.
Dynamic routing protocol EIGRP in a single autonomous system is configured in routers to have throughout connectivity between each station, Hub stations, and core routers via dedicated 64 Kbps, 2Mbps or V-SAT links. The core routers located at kolkata are connected to the servers via layer three switches so that routers in individual stations can have access to the servers database. Each router are configured and connected with more than one router for backup links in case of failure.

Device Details: Cisco 1721, 1841, 2811, 3845, 7206 routers, 2950 series switches, LAN extenders and Terminal Servers.

Configured Cisco 1841 routers with dynamic routing protocol OSPF in a point to point fashion in FOIS (Freight Operations Information System) network. The entire network was interconnected via OSPF protocol.

Configured and commissioned Cisco 7609, 7604, 7602 routers, 3750 switches with VLANS, static route to connect to the MPLS cloud, connection with the server, IOS up gradation for Bharti Airtel project.

Configured and commissioned Cisco 1721, 1841 routers with static route to connect with the core routers, link migration from Tulip to Airtel, site survey in Maruti project.

Configured and commissioned Cisco 2811 router with static route to connect to the core router, VLANs in Cisco 3750 switch in Aircel project.

Configured LAN port of Fat pipe device with private IP and WAN port with public IP provided by the ISP to enable internet connectivity for the computers via VPN between Branch office with Main office, LAN connectivity of those computers via Cisco switch in VA-Tech Project.

I was associated with DISHNET WIRELESS LIMITED (Network Operating Center) as Enterprise Support Engineer of Infotronix Channel (Authorized Service Representative of Wipro) from 01. 02. 2007 to 11. 05. 2007.

Tasks undertaken:

Windows server 2000/ 2003 installation, RAID configuration and patches, security update installation.
Active Directory installation, Active directory users management, applying group policy
DHCP server configuration, joining client computers to the domain.
Creation of user account and mail addresses on Exchange Server in multiple domain environment.
Responsible for updating the Symantec Antivirus server and client antivirus installation on workstations.
Taking backup of DC, ADC, PROXY and ANTI VIRUS server.
Configuring MS Outlook, wireless connection and proxy setting on desktop and laptop.
Solving various issues of the end users etc.
