Manpower Planning, Deployment & Training: Optimum utilization & deployment of men and material, keeping individual knowledge, interest and skill level in mind. Imparting on the job training to technical personnel on various technical and administrative matters.

Inventory Management: Worked as store in-charge and held inventory of costly equipments and spares, in laison with various supply agencies within and outside the organisation. Experience of working on Integrated Material Management On-Line System (IMMOLS) being used by IAF for logistics management.

Maintenance and Calibration: Maintenance of all test equipments held in charge through internal and external agencies. Estimating and forecasting future requirement of spares and consumables. Maintaining technical records that help in report generation and analysis of past trends involving maintenance activities.

Indigenous Development of Aviation Grade Spares: Worked as in-charge of local certification in the Indigenization Cell of 3 Base Repair Depot, Chandigarh for more than five years. It involves maintenance and upkeep of all the indigenization documents, building strong relationships with outside agencies in the process of development and procurement of indigenized spares.

Managed Vendor Development: Managed the preparation of tender enquiry interacting and liasoning with new firms for registration with IAF. Exploring the capabilities of firms, attending seminars and giving presentation on the goals, objectives and procedure of indigenization.

Carrying out the assigned task of finalizing technical details of aviation components, floating of tender enquiries, preparation of technical appreciation report and the comparative statement of commercial quotations, carrying out commercial negotiation both pre/ post development and placing developmental orders in the capacity of team leader, as per the norms laid down in CVC guidelines, defence procurement manual and Indigenization manual.
