Supplier facility inspection, capacity & technical evaluation to avoid any constraint in future development process and prospective orders.
Ensure proper coordination between the design and development team and site project team for all necessary inputs for/ during product development.
Keep track of the Raw material price trend.
Publish In-house (zero based) costing before price negotiation to ensure the best price availability for procurement.
Jig & fixture & tooling development and proto approval at Local level to reduce the dependency on International supplier and reduced lead time.
On site inspection during order execution to check the consistency in quality & timely deliverable.
Ensure timely release of Purchase orders and data updation in SAP.
Manage the National level procurement plan and publish future procurement plan in tune to the forecast received.

Effective coordination with commercial department to ensure the timely payment to suppliers and with logistics department to ensure the delivery of material at right time at site.
