Chief Accomplishments across the Tenure:

As a General Manager, Purchases, is heading and running the entire SCM activities of a Company with over 450 Crores of turnover. Responsible for achieving and further improving the profitability of the company, with Four different Divisions. Entrusted with reducing the overall cost of inputs and simultaneously achieving efficiency and reducing waste. In addition, presently involved in reorganisation of entire SCM activities.
As a Colonel: Headed the Engineering Department leading a technical team of 1000 people in an highly active operational area of J & K having over 100 large and small Army units spread over an area of 250 Km along line of control. Oversaw Planning Engineering Support and exercising the Control of Annual Performance Plan, creating and developing strategic vision for the department, imparting Training to 20 Officers and 90 Supervisors. Lead the team by motivating and achieved a very high standard of maintenance techniques for all vehicles and Engineering equipment including Earth moving equipment in border areas.

As the Officer Commanding: In operations and peace provided technical leadership to over 300 personnel and ensured effective logistics, engineering and maintenance support to equipment worth over Rs. 1500 Crores of sophisticated equipment which included both mechanical and electronic war like equipment. Successfully achieved targets set out and ensured mission effectiveness of equipment availability of over 95%.

As a Deputy General Manager (Maintenance) at Field Workshops (an industrial organization in forward locations with about 20 executives and 250 skilled factory workers): Effectively ensured maintenance of armoured vehicles, systems and sub-systems of imported engineering equipment. Transporting vehs, radar, micro-wave, electronic and communication equipment of a value over Rs 100 Crores/ year.
Ensured in situ repair and regular maintenance of electrical fencing equipment on Line of Control including heavy-duty generators thus achieving over 98% of equipment availability. 3. Has carried out overhaul of BOFORS guns in forward locations for the first time in 18 years after the induction of BOFORS guns in the Army.
Received letter of appreciation from Lt Gen S P Jain for executing fabrication of Heavy duty Bty Charging Lorries (Qty 12) in a record time of 3 months.
Successfully planned and implementing reorganisation of Supply Chain Management to cater for the planned expansion to achieve a turnover of Rs 800 Crores. In addition achieved reduction the overall cost of inputs and simultaneously delivering efficiency and reducing waste.
