Project 1 : Sustenance of Switches
Client : Alcatel Calabasas, USA
Description : The project involved maintenance of Alcatels AOS and XOS series of Switches and included fixing Problem Reports in Layer 2 and Layer 3 areas.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Fixing and validating Problem Reports on switches and bringing up the test
environment for:
oLayer 2 technology - Spanning Tree, Link Aggregation
oLayer 3 technology - Unicast routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, BGP,
Multicast switching (IPMS) and protocols: DVMRP, PIM-SM
Knowledge transfer of IPv6 protocol and its implementation in the Clients
architecture.
Preparing Test Plans for the assigned Problem Reports.
Tenure : 7 months

Project 2 : Development of Network and Print Protocol Stacks over VxWorks 6. 2 and VxWorks 6. 4
Client : Ricoh Company Limited, Japan
Description : The objective of the project was to develop a Color Laser Printer with Laser Printing, Copy, Scan and Fax functions, for the Low End
Market Segment. Wipro Technologies was requested to develop Network and Print Protocols with Dual Stack Support for this product over VxWorks 6. 2 and VxWorks 6. 4.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Development, Bug Fixing and Testing of Network Initialization module,
DDNS Client module, dual-stack support for Raw Printing Protocol (9100) and Line Printer Daemon (LPD) modules.
Bug Fixing and Testing of Print and Network Protocols such as FTP-Server, SNTP Client and DHCP Client.
Re-engineering of DDNS Client module to make it compliant to GW series of printers.
Responsible for enforcing code quality and process adherence in the
release deliverables.
Preparing Requirement Specification, Comprehensive Design Documents and
Unit Test Reports for the assigned modules and mentoring new members.
Tenure : 20 months

Project 3 : Porting of Zigbee software from ARM to OKI MCU
Client : OKI Electric Industry Co., Ltd., Japan
Description : The project involved porting of the ZigBee-2006 network layer software available on 32 bit ARM MCU (ML67Q4061) to 8 bit OKI MCU (ML7222)
Key Responsibility Areas:
Porting of Zigbee-2006 network layer software from 32 bit ARM MCU to 8
bit OKI MCU and testing.
Contributed effectively in the feasibility study phase and prepared analysis reports and Design document.
Identification of different approaches to meet the memory constraints in the end target.
Identification of padding issues during code reviews and system testing and fixing the same.
Debugging/ bring up of the ported Zigbee source code.
Responsible for ensuring code quality and process adherence in the release
deliverables.
Tenure : 8 months

Project 4 : Development and System Testing of Device Drivers
Client : OKI Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Japan
Description : The objective of this project was to develop Linux Drivers code and perform system testing for several devices of IOH corresponding to the customer segment. Development and validation of Linux drivers and IOH hardware was done on Fedora 10.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Design and development of the Program Design specifications and Test
Specifications for the Linux PCI CAN driver that controls the IOH
CAN device.
Designing the Program Design specifications for the Linux DMA
Controller driver.
Quality Coordinator for the release deliverables.
Tenure : 4 months
