OMAP4 is next generation chip family for mobile phones.
Responsibilities:
Test definition creation to verify integration and functional aspect of IVA-HD subsystem in OMAP4.
Test case development for IVA-HD modules such as interrupt and basic performance tests.
Design and development of complete automation framework for execution of tests.
Failure analysis of failed test cases to give feedback to development team.

2. Generic TrupTI Test Bench.
Client : Texas Instruments.
Target users : TI DSP architecture and Synopsis developers.
Duration : 3 months.
Technology Used : C, C++
TrupTI is an acronym for Third party simulation platform V Test Infrastructure.
TrupTI is part of the simulator test bench that is used to verify and validate CCS Simulator software in the context of third party integration of the simulator models.
Responsibilities:
Creation of test definition for IVA-HD module
Creation of test cases as per test definition.
Validation of multi-core generic test bench
Validation of customized test bench as per simulator involving 5 cores of OMAP4 (Texas Instruments proprietary media chip)
Development of complete automation framework for execution of tests.
Failure analysis of failed test cases to give feedback to development team.

3: IVA-HD (TI-DSP Simulator Integration Validation).

Target users : TI DSP architecture (IVA_HD, OMAP4) developers

The IVA-HD is a Video/ Imaging hardware acceleration sub-system. It can be integrated in different hardware platform
Responsibilities:
Test definition creation to verify integration and functional aspect of IVA-HD modules.
Test case development for IVA-HD modules such as interrupt and basic performance tests.
Design and development of complete automation framework for execution of tests.

Project Name : Validation of Push Button Automation Test Tool.

The Project aim is to achieve 100% automation of the existing validation process of TI DSP simulator mutually coordinating with Texas Instruments Simulator Validation team. It involved enhancement in automatic validation of TI DSP simulator by excavating lacunae in existing process and implementing an innovative solution for the same.

Push Button automation Test Tool is responsible for automating process like
1 Setting up of right simulator configuration for regression execution
2 Validation of user inputs & percolating the same to template scripts
3 Execution of Client specific regression types
4 Generating detailed failure analysis regression report
5 Automated addition of a new test bench to a regression flow
6 Automatic Uploading of execution report on web page

Responsibility:
Creation of Test Definition of a tool named Push Button Flow Test Tool that completely automates the validation process.
Completely responsible for validation of the same which includes GUI testing, Feature testing, Functionality testing, Random Testing.
Development of complete automation framework for execution of tests.
Failure analysis of failed test cases to give feedback to development team.

4: DSP Multi platform Simulator Validation.
Organization : Poseidon Design Systems Pvt. Ltd.
Client : Texas Instruments.
Target users : TI DSP architecture and Synopsis developers.
Team Size : 4
Duration : 2 months.
Role : System Verification Engineer.

The project involves
1 Validation of simulators of various DSPs simulator developed by Texas Instruments.
2 Excavation of test scenarios in test definition as per simulator functional specification
3 Test cases development to validate the performance of these simulators using C/ C++ language.
4 An in-house developed testing tool Code Composer Studio (CCS) is used for DSP Programming and debugging.
5 Perl, Tcl/ Tk and Shell scripts are used for automated testing.
6 Knowledge gain in terms of understanding and verification simulators TI DSP architectures, processor cores and subsystem IPs for various different platforms
