 Involved in recruitment of testing resources
 Mentoring & assisting resources so that they can perform in testing cycle responsibly, effectively and independently.
 Actively involved in testing Customers Proof of Concept based on RS and Various Design documents
 Leading the various Reporting Cycles as Management reports, Finance reports, Bespoke and Forecast reports in the manufacturing domain using DW-BI/ SAP BW tools
 Leading an offshore test team of eight persons and liaison with the various other offshore teams
 Provide expertise & leadership in development and maintenance of software defect lifecycle definition, a global software defect database, and processes around management of issues that arise during testing.
 Conduct defect review meetings with project stakeholders to ensure the defect are correctly resolved and provide written summary of all releases.
 Write QA test documentation (test plans, test scripts, and test results) using Lotus Notes, Mercury QC and Visual Source Safe. Ensure the QA test documentation is reviewed by project stakeholders
 Test data modeling (application configuration data and transactional data) using tools and manually as per the requirement
 Participation in the review and analysis of business requirement and software design documents
 Collaborate with project team members on development and customer issues. Lead the effort to ensure appropriate testing. Developing software verification & validation test strategies for product/ service in sync with the user requirements.
 Provide system and applications support to users including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Ensure defect verification and Change Requests are adequately tested.
 Weekend testing (application, environmental and contingency)
 Review deployment/ test scripts with appropriate technical and business staff
 Coordinate Development and Clients technical support for QA/ Production deployment and testing.
