Present Work Profile:

Job involvement with Hot Rolling Mill V It is a reversible strip rolling mill having the barrel length of 2100mm & it can roll Stainless Steel rolling up to 1800mm with 2. 2mm thickness.

It is the widest strip rolling mill in India. Mill is having the powerful motors of 3500KW*4, two in top & another two in bottom.

Presently working with SIMADYN-D PLC containing 7 nos. of PM5 processor mounted in a single rack & communicating with distributed I/ O module racks through Profibus DP. Each processor is dedicated to execute certain fixed logics. This configuration is used for controlling the Steckel mill operation.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting of:

SIEMENS make SIMADYN-D PLC having 7nos. of PM5 processor.
SIEMENS make MMI with WINCC (Windows Control Centre) software.
Working exposure with OIL fired FURNACE (1200 c`temp. ), COAL GASIFIER and all related Instruments.
Hands on work experience with HMD (Hot Metal Detector), Air flow switch, Float switch, Pressure Switch, Thermocouple & RTD, Load cell.
Maintenance of E. O. T cranes (up to 60T, 25T, 15T, 10T & 5T), Drive panel & Switch Gear, PDB & MCC panel (DOL & Star-Delta starter), 5000 & 1250kvA Transformers.
Gamma Rays Thickness Gauge (ACON make).
Large DC motors (up to 3500KW, 750KW, 450KW) & AC motors.
Maintenance of SF6 and Vacuum CBs with current & time setting.
Working on E-Das (Electronic Data Acquisition System) with iba Analyzer & PADU (Parallel Analog & Digital Unit).

Planning For:

Manpower management and Handling the shift.
ISO 9001 documentation, implementation.
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance & scheduling.
Electrical & Electronics equipments spare parts requirement.
Reducing breakdown time & also the process time to achieve maximum production target.
